You wouldn’t usually associate London with freshly brewed cider, but London Glider are offering just that.
Their name takes the cockney rhyming slang for cider and makes their cider using wasted apples from the London gardens where the fruit is so often wasted.
London Glider was born in 2010 when they decided to make use of the waste. They spoke to friends and neighbours who supported them by donating their apples and their business grew.
As the word is spreading more and more Londoners are getting involved.
If you want to try this for yourself, visit the London drinker beer and cider festival on the 8h-10th March at the Camden Centre.
